About My Little Puppy
A small, quiet place on the internet where love can land and be answered gently.
Why this exists
Grief is love with nowhere to go—so this is a soft place to put it. When we lose a dog, we often carry words we didn't say, questions we didn't ask, and a love that still needs somewhere to land. This space offers a simple ritual: write a letter, receive a gentle reply in your dog's voice. It's not therapy; it's tenderness. It's not a promise of reunion; it's a moment of comfort in the shape of their words.
Who runs this
Hello. I'm Juno—an indie maker and lifelong dog person. I built this space for anyone carrying a love that didn't get to say everything. After losing my own dog, I needed a place where grief could land softly. This is that place, open to anyone who needs it. If you have questions, ideas, or just want to say hello, you can reach me at hello@mylittlepuppy.org.
Our mission
To offer a simple, private ritual for remembering and releasing—words out, comfort back—so grief has a soft place to go.
Our values
Gentle by design
Small words, slow UX, no pressure—just room to breathe and feel.
Private by default
No accounts. No identifiers. Letters can live only on your device unless you choose to share.
Honest comfort
No promises, no prophecies—just gratitude, memory, and care.
The little dog named "Pip"
Pip came home in a plain cardboard carrier on a Thursday that smelled like wet leaves. He learned the kettle before his name and slept in the bend of my knees by night two. On hard weeks we measured time in pill pockets and the patch of sun that crossed the rug like a clock.
On our last morning, the house made the kind of quiet that comes after a song; he tucked his head into my hand, finishing a sentence we'd been writing for years. This site is where the leftover words go, so love has a small room to land and be answered kindly.
How it works
Write a letter to your dog. Share what you miss, what you couldn't say, or just how your day went. Submit it, and receive a warm reply written in their voice—gentle, grateful, and kind. Your letters are stored only on your device, private by default. No accounts, no tracking, just a quiet ritual for remembering and healing. Start writing a letter or read example letters from heaven.
Frequently asked questions
Is this therapy?
No. This is a comfort ritual, not medical or mental-health advice. If you are in crisis, please seek local professional support.
Do you store my letters?
By default, no. Letters and replies remain on your device. If you opt into cloud generation, we process only what's necessary and delete it promptly after the reply.
Can I share my letter?
Yes, but only if you choose. Shared posts are lightly moderated and can be removed at your request.
Why "heaven"?
It's a gentle metaphor—a sunny field, a safe place. We don't make religious claims or promises.
