By default: We do not collect account data. Your letters and replies are saved locally on your device and never leave your device without your explicit action.

If you opt for cloud generation: If you choose to generate a reply using cloud processing, we collect minimal text excerpt and emotion tags sent for processing. This data is erased after the response is returned, typically within 24 hours.

Basic telemetry: We may collect:

• Anonymized analytics (if used), which do not identify you personally
• Rate-limit IDs to prevent abuse, which are temporary and not linked to your identity
• Error logs without personal identifiers for debugging purposes

Public Wall: If you choose to submit content to the public Wall, that content will be publicly visible. You can request removal at any time.

3. How we use data

We use your data to:

• Provide the Service and generate AI replies when requested
• Ensure safety through abuse and spam detection
• Improve service quality in aggregate (without identifying individuals)

We do not:

• Sell or rent personal information
• Use advertising trackers
• Share your data with third parties for marketing purposes

We use only essential or privacy-respecting analytics, if any.

4. Legal bases (if GDPR applies)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data based on:

• Performance of service: To provide the Service and generate replies
• Legitimate interests: For security, abuse prevention, and analytics
• Consent: For public Wall sharing (you can withdraw consent at any time)

5. Sharing

Local storage: Your letters and replies stored on your device remain there until you delete them through your device settings.

Server-side processing: Any data sent for cloud processing is purged within 24 hours after the reply is generated.

Public Wall content: Content submitted to the public Wall is retained until you request removal. We will process removal requests within 7 days.

7. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Minimal logging practices
• Access controls to limit who can access stored data

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of any server-stored data we have about you
• Correct: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete: Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for public Wall sharing at any time
• Request removal: Request removal of your content from the public Wall

Note: Local device data is controlled by you. You can delete it at any time through your device settings.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the local age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared content on the public Wall, please contact us to request deletion.

10. International transfers

If you are located outside the jurisdiction where our servers are hosted, your data may be transferred to and processed in that jurisdiction.

If applicable under GDPR, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other appropriate safeguards to protect your data during international transfers.
